The goal is not to have “AI run the station”
The AI panel monitors the state of the application and gives the operator information in context: what is playing now, what comes next, the stream status, the estimated energy of the programme and whether there is a risk of an artist repeating too soon.
It is an operational advisor, not a replacement for a music editor. It only reads the state of the programme and does not control the audio engine.
What the panel monitors
The panel refreshes its status during playback and keeps track of the current and next content, the stream status and the history of recent artists. When it detects a risk of artist repetition, it shows a warning and suggests other content based on the available data.
A short feed of the latest events (ticker) shows changes of state without opening the technical log.
Programme energy
The programme energy estimate is a supporting signal for the operator, based on the current state and the available characteristics of the content — not an objective musical analysis that “knows the audience’s taste”.
Why it is useful
During a long programme, the operator keeps track of several things at once. The advisor draws attention to obvious problems: the stream is not online, the same artist is coming up again, or the next item may not be the best choice.
